Reed got baptized the first Saturday in August after turning 8 years old. He only had one baptism partner (Ethan Brown) in our ward that day (which is impressive here in Utah), and since the partner was a friend, the day felt extra special.
Reed was baptized and confirmed by his dad, Kevin Parry Wilson.
Ethan's family gave the talk on baptism and Reed asked his Uncle Mikey to give the talk on the Holy Ghost. (We were all kind of sweating when Mikey didn't show up until a minute before he had to give the talk. Phew! Aunt Whitney was super grateful she didn't have to pinch hit on that one!). Reed picked his favorite song as the closing: "Praise to the Man."
Reed was beaming on his baptism day. He just looked so happy and excited. It was a special day for him and we are so proud of him in making such a sacred covenant with his Father in Heaven.
