Taryn turned 4

At the beginning of January, Taryn turned 4.  It really is a horrible time to have a birthday.  Not only is it right after Christmas, but this mom is tired out and not really in the mood to throw any birthday parties.  However, this little girl had been talking about her supposed birthday party for months, so we of course had to follow through.

Party at home with family:

Yes, the candles got a bit close.

Daddy had to hold her hair back because, yes, it had caught fire!

No pictures to show, but Grandma (aka Taryn's favorite person) had to come to the family party as well.  She came bearing gifts....puzzles

and a girly, pink superhero cape!

Mom and Dad got her a tiny dog house for one of her many stuffed dogs.

Friend party:

Pin the nose on the snowman

 A few friends

 Stringing candy necklaces

Reed "hugging" Taryn and Jace

The whole crew: Livvie, Marley, Taryn, Reed, Jace, Aaron, and Lincoln

 Balloon war!

 Decorating cupcakes

 The cutest birthday girl ever

Taryn was the last at the table eating her treats (surprise, surprise).  The girl loves food.

Opening presents.  Her friends (or their mom) knows Taryn well.  She got a cupcake shirt. :)
