Cousin Egg Hunt

We had our annual easter egg hunt at Oma's house.  As we got into the van to leave, it wouldn't start.  We had to pile 4 kids into our little Hyundai Elantra.  All the cousins were there and they had a blast!  We love living close to family!

World Famous Baby

Even after all this time, MJ is still a novelty around here.  The kids always want to play with her (Corbin especially).  Reed and Taryn always race to take their seatbelts off in the van to see who can run up to MJ first.  And she continues to be our best baby and for sure, best sleeper ever.

She got a hold of Reed's smoothie.

I think I love her thumb more than she does.

She loves to swing.

Caught in the act.

Who doesn't love a box?

She even has a boyfriend- Finn.

Reed and Taryn love giving her rides on the wiggle car.  She loves it too.

Of course she's going to be a baller.

Holy cow, that's a cute baby.

Little buddies

She thinks she's so silly.

Happy girl at the Curiosity Museum

She loves the water.

A lot.

Matching ice cream cone pants!

She loves to climb.

And she loves ramen noodles.

And her favorite thing is fitting in tiny places, like drawers (just like Taryn did).

We sure do love this gummy girl!

Craft-mania

Taryn got into making dresses out of paper- "real," wearable dresses.  And she loves giving them to her friends.

A spider!

This is her wagon.  She deliberately created a seat for MJ.  You can probably see the handle, but she just couldn't figure out the wheels.  Taryn comes up with these elaborate ideas of things she want to make- wagon, baby carrier for MJ made out of ribbon, she wanted to make a stroller our of thread, etc.  I try to be as supportive as possible but also allowing her to figure out how to do it (because it's way too hard/impossible sometimes).  It is so fun watching her be creative!

Taryn gathered a bunch of flowers from my mom's tree and brought them home.  She wanted to make a real bed for her to sleep on.  She was pretty sad when the wind picked up and blew most of it away.  And she was upset that I wouldn't let her create it on our kitchen table to save for the next few days.

I would love to be Taryn's friend as a kid!  She loves making and giving gifts.  This bag is full of some creations she made and some toys she wanted to give away to her friend Melody (see below).  And we definitely had to wrap them!

Taryn and Melody created these cute fairy houses one day.  I gave them supplies and they did the rest.  Taryn was so excited about the idea of a fairy house that she woke up really early that morning, because she was "too excited to sleep."

Corbin and I had a fun sledding date in our backyard.  Not a ton of snow left, but we made it work. :)
