Snow Fun

Marty, Mikey, and Kevin ready for a sled race.

That's my mom after 15 seconds of snowshoeing. :)

Again, my mother.

Allie and my mom snowshoeing in Aspen Grove.

Me and my mom.

Mom was getting tired, so Allie and I snowshoed a little further while my mom waited. Can you find her? She's the dot.

A different snowshoeing trip with Kevin.

Me. Can you tell I love snowshoeing?

My version of the sock monkey

Here is the latest craft project. Actually, I've been meaning to finish these over the past year (and still have a few to go). I've done a few other craft projects meanwhile...it's always easier to finish projects that don't take so long. And I don't really sew (I only "hand-stitched the limbs and tail on to the monkeys). Well, here they are!

Ice Castle

I just thought this was so cool! I kept driving past this ice castle and finally got a picture of it.

6 month old Frog

Reed Frog recently turned 6 months old. Here are some recent cute pictures...

This is the first time we ever took a nap with Reed. It won't ever happen again (or rarely) but it was so cute.

I don't usually like when he's sad, but I thought his face was funny.

Reed had a playdate with his girlfriends Ruby (who I think takes the cake in weight competition) and a young'un, Eliza.

He can get around pretty well by rolling everywhere. The other day we found him under the coffee table.

Sometimes he'll fall back onto the Boppy and just lay there for a while. I guess everyone needs a break. :)

His cheeks are so kissable!

What an awesome baby.

Happy New Year 2009

We had a fun New Year's Eve. Our Asian friends, Mike and Moroni, came over as well as Mike's friends, Casey and Alex. I felt like I was living the college life again (especially since Mike and Mo are from my Freshmen ward--go 4th ward!). Anyway, we made homemade pizza and Casey brought his chocolate fountain to torture me with (I hate you!). We played Uno de muerte (a Freshmen year version of Uno) and a Buzz trivia game. We watched Surf's Up and I fell asleep at about 11:45pm. Weird since Kevin and I are lucky if we're ever in bed before 12am. I woke up to toast to 2009, the guys left, and I fell asleep on the couch while Kevin finished the movie (does anyone else have to finish a movie like he does?!). Fun times overall.

Playing Uno de muerte

Mike getting a "Mo-ssage"...this picture makes me laugh. A Mossage is painful but good.

Mike was pretty happy that Reed cuddled with him earlier that day. Reed does seem to like that Asian a lot.
