Boston

At the beginning of June, I went out to Boston to visit Allie and meet my nephew, Jett, and niece, Nona for the first time!  (And see Christ too ;)).  I was "helping" Allie get ready to move to Colorado, but I think we mostly just played.
We spent a day in the city.  Boston is much smaller than I had imagined.  Not quite like Chicago.  It is old with a lot of history.

1st church (I think)

Cobblestone streets look cool

Cannoli's from Mike's

Allie put together a fun activity for her kids.  She filled dried eggshells with paint and had them throw them at canvases.  Chris was holding his breath about all the paint that got on the walls.

Best hair ever.

Coolest park ever.

Boston Temple

Shake Shack (probably the best burger I've ever had)

Going home.  I loved playing with my nephews and nieve, but I really missed my kids.

Summer

Our summer was filled with biking with friends, splash parks, parks, bug houses, swimming, and popsicles.

Corbin is 3!

Corbin had a birthday at the end of May and turned 3!  We had some cousins over and had cupcakes.  It was super simple, but he still talks about his "party."

3 things we love about Corbin:

1. He loves to be silly.  He's our first rough-and-tumble kid.  He loves to wrestle.
2. He's so fun to talk with.  Talking is a fairly new skill for him, so it's so cute to hear him concentrating as he tries to figure out exactly what he's trying to say.
3. He loves all his siblings.  He tells Reed, Taryn, and MJ that they are his "best friends" all the time.  He is Taryn's little shadow, Reed's sleeping buddy, and MJ's biggest fan.
