4th of July

We hosted the 4th of July celebrations for both sides of our families.  Needless to say, it was a ton of people but also a ton of fun!
We convinced my dad to bring his "family fun bike."  All the kids, adults, and some neighbors got to go for a crazy spin on the 6 man (with a center spot for a little person) bike.  It was such a hit.

It's not the 4th of July without a bike parade.  This tradition goes back to the good 'ole days celebrating the 4th of July with the Burkharts in Illinois.

Popsicles and a deep conversation amongst cousins

A spontaneous game of soccer broke out in the culdesac.

Jett was a little nervous about the sparkler.

It was quite the fireworks show, including one falling over and shooting into our neighbor's garage.  Whoops.
