Happy Halloween!

Best. Costume. Ever. Yes, that is a walnut bra. And only spent like $1 on it (and Reed's, for that matter).
Hula girl and rocket boy
Taryn and her little boyfriends, Will and Kru
Kissing friends :)
Reed's preschool party
Cousins watching the boiling brew. Aunt Sarah is so cool!
Cousin trick-or-treating crew
This little girl got it already! She RAN from house to house.
Things got really fun when grandma showed up.
Hard to tell in the picture, but the coolest thing we saw was a fog machine shooting out bubbles! So cool to pop fog bubbles. We could have stayed there for hours!
Cousins and cousins of cousins. Trick-or-treating was a blast this year. The perfect weather certainly helped, but Reed lasted longer than he ever has in the past (he even kept up with his cousins AND kept his costume on). One bad trip finally did him in, and he claimed that his bag was getting way too heavy. Poor baby. ;) Taryn could have kept on going.....

Pumpkins!

The kids painted while we carved. Kevin normally carves a frog every year, but I told him he had to represent Taryn as well. So he did a bear. Can you tell? My creative juices were very lacking this year.

"Look at the camera, Taryn."

Pumpkin patch #2

Hee Haw Farms is my favorite pumpkin farm to go to in October. There is a ton of stuff for the kids to do...and luckily, the weather was just perfect when we went.
We finally convinced Reed to go down by himself.
The animal train
A favorite was playing "Pac Man" in the maze with Daddy.
Both kids liked the corn box this time.
Just hanging out.
Reed could have done this activity all day. You pump the water out to make the rubber duck float down the "river." He kept coming back to it again and again and again.

Logan Pumpkin Walk

We went up to Kevin's sister, Whitney's house in Logan for the night and went to Logan's fun pumpkin walk the next morning.

BYU Football Game

We decided to take Reed to his first BYU football game (Taryn stayed home with grandma).
We were worried at first when he started to cover his ears every time the announcer spoke (which was all the time), but he eventually got used to it.
BYU vs. Oregon State. It was actually a really fun, close game to watch...barely a loss.
Hard to tell, but he actually loved doing the BYU fight song. And he loved the band. Oh dear. He thought they looked like crayons. :)
And just when Reed started losing major interest, we got him a "cougar tail" at half time = giant maple donut bar. Greatest invention ever! Look at that joy. We shared it, but he easily could have finished it off by himself.
So fun!

Pumpkin patch #1

Taryn, surprisingly, was not too fond of the corn box this time.
Reed, on the other hand (and his friend Zach), loved it.
Taryn is a much more willing model.

Reed + Taryn

These two really do get along most of the time (watching General Conference).
They play silly games.
And giggle a lot.
Singing "Nephi's Courage." Love it.
