Corbin turned 1!

We sure do love this little boy!  As predicted, he didn't want anything to do with the cake.
At 12 months, Corbin "takes the cake" for weight, height, and head size, all above the 97th percentile.  He was pushing 27 lbs!  It's getting hard to lug him around.  That baby needs to walk.
Corbin has been such a joy to everyone in our family.  I feel like he wasn't a baby for very long (maybe it's for all kids who have older siblings), but he just acts like he knows stuff.  You know what I mean?  He couldn't walk (at 12 mos.) and he certainly isn't talking or anything, but he just "gets it."  It's like he would understand the inside joke.  He knows what he wants and he is definitely my most destructive baby.  Reed and Taryn still adore him and treat him like the world's most famous baby.  Reed likes to say, "Some people think they have the cutest baby, but they don't."

Yay for summer!

We are so happy about summer being here!  Sadly, I didn't take a ton of pictures of our every day happenings.  When the going gets hot, we get wet!

At Kevin's parent's pool....

In our sprinkler....

and a bunch of trips to various splash parks and a local lake with a sandy beach!

Half Marathon

I ran a half marathon with my friend, Julie.  I trained, but it was still hard.  Apparently I should've realized that a race in Alpine would be a bit hilly.  Holy crap.

Reed's Preschool

Reed absolutely loved preschool this year!  And I loved not teaching it. :)  He had a great teacher-Miss Denise-and made some great friends.

Randoms

Our kids can certainly be picky eaters, but they all have loved black beans.  It makes for a great goatee.

At the beginning of summer, the kids would spend hours collecting rolly pollies.  I don't have a problem with rolly pollies, but in that quantity it kinda makes me squeamish.

Green Dragons

Reed had another great soccer season with the "Green Dragons."  He had fun teammates and the best coach (we even convinced him to coach again next season). :)  Reed always said he liked playing soccer, but it was more evident this season--he actually ran after the ball!
