As first timers in Maui, we felt obligated about driving the road to Hana. I had mixed feelings about the whole thing. I'm not a huge fan of being in the car long, especially since I tend to get carsick. I ended up taking some medicine to curb the carsickness, but it made me so incredibly tired.
On the other hand, there were some really beautiful spots along the way and the hike at the very end was exactly what I was hoping for- green foliage, flowers, a bamboo forest, and a bunch of waterfalls.
