This was not our original plan but when we saw a clear view of the volcano in the distance, we took our chances and headed towards it. Because it's so high in elevation, it usually is clouded over and often is stormy. We were nervous when we were driving higher and the clouds started moving. But we got lucky and had a beautiful view from the top.
These are the coolest plants ever. This is the only place they exist and they only bloom once in their entire lifetime and then they turn this silver color! I thought they were so cool!
