The past several years we have been going trick-or-treating with cousins in Pleasant Grove. It is one of my favorite traditions and the kids really look forward to it. Aunt Sarah puts together a fun, themed Halloween dinner with delicious soups and sides. Then the fun begins and the cousins roam the streets together (as well as the parents). Heath and Sarah's neighborhood is pretty festive when it comes to Halloween. One cul-de-sac in particular has ghosts hooked up to strings between 2 houses that "fly" overhead! One house has bubbles streaming that are filled with fog when you pop them. Another house gets a bunch of teenagers to act like zombies. It's pretty cool.
The trio: a superhero (not a specific one), a clown, and a bat
The whole group of cousins
Hannah (a cousin from the other side) was so cute to help Taryn around. They are the only 2 girls in a big group of boys.
Corbin got the hang of it after a little while.
Checking out the spoils
Sorting and counting the candy was always my favorite part. Lucky (or maybe unlucky) for Kevin and I, the kids both like the fruity stuff more than chocolate which means we always get the good stuff. :)
