We've kind of started a new tradition of decorating gingerbread houses with friends. We have been friends with our Orem friends for about 5 years now. Luckily, 4 out of the 5 of us now live in Lehi/Saratoga Springs with one still in Orem, so we still get together on occasion. Last minute, 2 of the families couldn't make it, but we had a blast with the others. I was so happy to finally decorate gingerbread houses on Dec. 22, because Taryn kept bugging me about doing it since the beginning of December.
