Labor Day weekend, we took a quick trip to Bear Lake with Kevin's family. It was kind of planned quickly but enough time that Annette booked a big house for us all to stay at. It was fantastic to have us, Christi and Whitney's families, and Kevin's parent's all staying together. None of us had been to Bear Lake (aside from the overnight trip I took with a couple of friends the previous fall for a day hike). It was a crazy, busy weekend to go but fun nonetheless. Saturday at the beach was pretty cold and windy, but the kids still had fun playing in the sand and flying kites. We went to the biggest sacrament meeting of all time on Sunday (we heard it was easily over 1,000 people; we had to sit in the Young Women's room on the floor!), toured a cave, went on a hike, and rented jet skis on a warmer Labor Day (Taryn loved it, Reed did not). Overall, it was a really fun trip and we plan on going back.
(Thumbs down for jet skiing)
