How I've been thinking lately....

I got this link from a friend after we had a similar conversation recently. Sometimes I feel like maybe I'm too honest (negative) with how things are going sometimes and everyone else lives an unstressful, perfect life. Or does no one talk about their real lives? Read this, it's short and interesting:

That is a great post. Once a week I take a walk with my neighbor and then we meet two other women at the park where the kids play and we talk. And guess what--most of the time we are complaining (usually laughing about it) but essentially airing all of our frustrations about just about everything. And it makes us feel better (as long as we're not "gossiping") and become better friends. It helps to know that your neighbor who always looks perfect at church on Sunday and who's kids are smart and clean and well behaved (in public) has similar "crazy" issues behind her closed doors. I am ALL for being more honest and open and REAL. It will be good for us.

Oh, and all my neighbors witnessed Amy through a HUGE fit in our front yard this morning before school. That's REAL.
