Craft-mania

Taryn got into making dresses out of paper- "real," wearable dresses.  And she loves giving them to her friends.

A spider!

This is her wagon.  She deliberately created a seat for MJ.  You can probably see the handle, but she just couldn't figure out the wheels.  Taryn comes up with these elaborate ideas of things she want to make- wagon, baby carrier for MJ made out of ribbon, she wanted to make a stroller our of thread, etc.  I try to be as supportive as possible but also allowing her to figure out how to do it (because it's way too hard/impossible sometimes).  It is so fun watching her be creative!

Taryn gathered a bunch of flowers from my mom's tree and brought them home.  She wanted to make a real bed for her to sleep on.  She was pretty sad when the wind picked up and blew most of it away.  And she was upset that I wouldn't let her create it on our kitchen table to save for the next few days.

I would love to be Taryn's friend as a kid!  She loves making and giving gifts.  This bag is full of some creations she made and some toys she wanted to give away to her friend Melody (see below).  And we definitely had to wrap them!

Taryn and Melody created these cute fairy houses one day.  I gave them supplies and they did the rest.  Taryn was so excited about the idea of a fairy house that she woke up really early that morning, because she was "too excited to sleep."
