This summer we ventured out on a vacation unlike any other we had previously gone on. We are Disneyland goers and we go on trips with Kevin's family every other year (half have been Disney related as well). So this year, we wanted to try something different. We took 2 days and made the trek to the Oregon coast. We had friends that had made a vacation out of it and really enjoyed it. Neither of us had been to Oregon (until 3 weeks before our vacation when Kevin took the young men in our ward to the exact location we were going! If Heavenly Father doesn't have a sense of humor, I don't know who does). We camped at a KOA mid drive each way--the kids loved it....grownups had a rougher time. ;) Nonetheless, it was an experience to sleep 5 of us in a tent.
