Taryn's Mom & Dad date included a movie and ice cream (she also wanted to go to a "lunch store" and have a tea party, which translates to eating snacks while sitting on the floor.  The girl really likes food.  Yes, we got popcorn at the movie. :))

Mazie Jocelyn (MJ)

We had ourselves another cute baby, Mazie Jocelyn whom we call MJ.

 [*Kevin and I had agreed upon the name MJ, though I kept trying to find other names.  I knew Jocelyn was going to be the middle name-after my best friend from college-but we couldn't decide on an "M" name we both liked.  Up until the night before my water broke, we were thinking Mara.  But neither of us loved the name.  So Kevin started lookin up M names again.  We narrowed it down to Miley and Mazie.  We didn't really decide until we were in the hospital, and I don't roll that way!  So stressful!  After finally deciding on Mazie, Kevin and I called her Mazie for a couple days until the kids visited and made sure we knew it was MJ.  So now we call her MJ.  Who knows what she will come to be known as...]

She was born June 7 around noon.  Weighed in at 8.0 lbs and 21 inches long.

We still can't decide who she looks most like; I've heard every sibling-Reed, Taryn, and Corbin.  We sure think she's cute though and her siblings are OBSESSED with her! 

[*Shortened birth story...'cuz who has time for the long version?  My water broke Sunday early morning but I wasn't feeling many contractions and definitely not close together.  We tried to go back to sleep for a couple hours because I didn't want to wake up my mom at 2am.  I finally got out of bed at 4:30, showered, and went to the hospital.  They confirmed my water broke and they admitted us.  I labored for a couple hours on my own and was having contractions about 10 min apart.  I got an epidural, and they started me on petocin, I progressed fairly quickly and soon she was here!  We love this little girl so much!]

 Meeting their sister for the first time in the hospital.  Reed held her 11 times in the 15 minutes they were there.  Corbin was pretty unsure about everything...
