Reed: "I have poop in my toesies...it goes up my legs and out my butt."


Reed: "Baby Girl has a cute butt. You [Mommy] have a BIG butt."


Reed: "Kevin. Kevin Daddy."
Kevin: "I'm not answering unless you call me Daddy."
Reed: "Rhiannon."
Kevin: "You need to call Mommy, Mommy."
Reed: "Mommy?"
Rhiannon: "Yes, Bud?"
Reed: "Kevin's in a bad mood."

Brotherly Love

Ever since Taryn joined our family, Reed has been in love with her. I really have not had to worry about sibling jealousy as of yet; in fact, it's quite the opposite. Whenever she is around, Reed wants to be around her. I have to worry more about him smothering her with hugs (seriously, it was a concern when she was really little though she can hold her own a bit more now). She doesn't always have the same feelings in return, but she certainly loves her brother. Reed always wants to help give her a bink, change her diaper, make her laugh and smile, etc...










...but I wasn't expecting him to feed her. (Notice the boppy and lifting of the shirt). :)

My BF, Lesley, took our family pictures a few weeks ago and I love how they turned out! And this is about as good as you'll get for a blog post for now....sorry, it has been hard to make blogging a priority during the summer.

We absolutely love our cute baby girl! She has been such a joy in our lives. She has a sweet personality and a cute smile. We couldn't ask for a better baby--I won't bite your head off if you ask me about having more kids--she's THAT good! Reed loves her (a little too much)--I'm afraid to put her in his room quite yet. He will definitely wake her up every morning and I'm not ready for that. So for now, she still resides in the kitchen in a pack-n-play. She gives Kevin the biggest smiles, so I think she'll be a daddy's girl. Sometimes I just look at her and think, "Dang, we have an awesome baby!" We just adore her!

Happy Easter!

Dyeing eggs. Reed loved it! And he is now in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the fastest egg-dyer. Like 8 eggs in 5 min.
